Box Score MOUNT OLIVE, North Carolina - The University of Mount Olive men's basketball team fell to Belmont Abbey College 110-95 in their last regular season contest Tuesday night. The Trojans fall to 16-12 overall and 10-10 in the conference, while the Crusaders improve to 19-9, 14-6.
INSIDE THE SCORE
The Crusaders opened the contest scoring the first basket before Mount Olive made a three-pointer to take the lead 3-2. The two teams went back and forth, taking the lead until Belmont Abbey started to pull away with a 16-11 lead at the 12:56 mark. The Crusaders found themselves extending their lead 35-20 with 7:54 left in the first half. Belmont Abbey ended the half leading the Trojans 55-41.
The second half began with a quick five points from the Trojans to cut into the lead 55-46. UMO fought hard, but Belmont Abbey never surrendered their lead for the remainder of the half and ending the game with a 110-95 win.
MOUNT OLIVE LEADERS
The Trojans were led by Michael Brown with 23 points. Johnny Hughes III, Darius Spragley, and Cameron Robinson all had double-digit scoring nights as well with 15,15, and 13 points.
BELMONT ABBEY LEADERS
The Crusaders were led by DeQuan Abrom and Romeao Ferguson, both with 24 points. Bosko Bojovic and Charles Solomon all had double-digit scoring performances with 19 and 17 points.

The key moment of the game was when the Crusaders ended the First half with a 14 point lead.
