GREENSBORO, North Carolina - The University of Mount Olive women's tennis team defeated Catawba College 5-2 in a Conference Carolinas matchup Tuesday afternoon in Greensboro, N.C. 

MATCH INFORMATION
The Trojans led the doubles round winning doubles 1 (6-0) and No. 2 (6-4) earning the first point. Mount Olive then defeated the singles matches (4-2) taking the 5-2 victory.

INSIDE THE RESULTS
Mount Olive's Liza Voloshyna in No. 2 singles battled it out and took the win (6-4,6-4) for the first singles point.  Ece Yuksel saw a close match but took the win No. 3 singles match (6-7,6-3,10-7) for the second singles point. Ingrid Montserrat in No. 4 singles defeated her opponent (6-3,6-4) to pick up the third singles point. Lastly, at No. 6 Deike Schipper fought and took the (6-2,6-4) win to earn the last singles points.
