MURFREESBORO, North Carolina - The University of Mount Olive men's tennis team defeated Chowan University 6-1 Tuesday afternoon in Conference Carolina action in Murfreesboro, N.C. 

MATCH INFORMATION
The Trojans took the doubles matches one (6-1) and 3 by default to take the doubles point. UMO then went 5-1 in the singles matches taking a 6-1 victory.

INSIDE THE RESULTS
Armando Ferreira in the No.1 singles match battled hard and took the win (6-4,6-1) for the first singles point. Jack Middleton then took out the No. 3 singles match (6-7,6-0,10-5) for the second singles point. Paul Sitkiewiez also battled the Hawks closely and got the win at No. 4 singles (6-0,6-3) for the third singles point. Victor Nunez swept the No. 5 singles match (6-0,6-0) in the for the fifth singles point. Lastly, Victor Nunez gave the Trojans the final singles point winning via forfeit.
