BRISTOL, TENN. - The Mount Olive Trojans swept the Tornado of King University 7-0 on Friday afternoon in Conference Carolinas women's tennis action at the King University Tennis Complex in Bristol, Tenn.

INSIDE THE RESULTS
- Mount Olive got things started off hot winning the doubles point with a pair of wins at No. 1 & 2 doubles.
- Lina Maria Alarcon and Arianna Orozco took a swift win as the No. 1 duo 6-0, while Deike Schipper and Carmen Espinos took a 6-2 win at No. 2 doubles.
- Ece Yuksel and Emma Burroughs won their No. 3 doubles match by default as King did not have enough players to fill the spots.
- UMO got their second match point from the No. 6 singles as Burroughs won by default.
- Alarcon won singles No. 2, 6-0, 6-1, for the third point and Schipper was next with a 6-0, 6-1 win in the No. 4 singles match.
- Orozco won the No. 3 singles match 8-0 and Espinos, the No. 5 singles player, won 8-1, as the matches were played in the pro-series style.
- Yuksel clinched the last point at No. 1 singles with a win by retirement as the King player could not finish out the game.

- The order of finish is a follows: Doubles (1,2,3); Singles (6,2,4,3,5,1).
- The sweep over King is the first 7-0 sweep of the season for the women's tennis team. They picked up 4-0 and 5-0 wins earlier in the season against Bluefield State and Chowan respectively.
