- Catawba took the doubles point after winning two of the three doubles matches to take the 1-0 lead into the singles round.
- Lina Maria Alarcon and Arianna Orozco won their doubles match 7-6 following a tiebreaker that they won 7-4.
- The Indians took all of the singles matches despite singles No. 1 and No. 4 going three sets.
- Ece Yuksel fought hard in the No. 1 singles match winning the first set 6-3, but dropped the next two, 3-6, 8-10.
- Deike Schipper also winning one set, 6-4, but dropping the first and third sets 2-6, 1-6.

Mount Olive returns to action on Saturday, March 23, when they host Conference Carolinas foe in the Valkyries of Converse College. The Valkyries and Trojans face off for a first serve at 11 a.m. at the John Neal Walker Tennis Center in Mount Olive, N.C. UMO will follow with a second conference match on Sunday, March 24, when they host the Saints of Limestone College at 1 p.m.
