MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. - The University of Mount Olive women's tennis team fell 8-1 to the Bulldogs of Barton College on Tuesday afternoon in Conference Carolinas at the John Neal Walker Tennis Courts in Mount Olive, N.C. Nicole La Chappelle and Jennifer Byrd were recognized prior to the match during the senior day ceremony for all of their hard work and dedication to the UMO Women's Tennis Program.

INSIDE THE RESULTS
- The Trojans exited the doubles round at a disadvantage having lost all three doubles points to the Bulldogs.
- Nicole La Chappelle & Jennifer Byrd gave their Barton opponents the toughest doubles fight taking the No. 2 doubles match to a tiebreaker, which Barton won 8-7 (7-5).
- Julissa Quintanilla was the lone UMO Trojan to pick up a singles win as she defeated her competitor 8-5 in the 6th fight in a pro set game.

The Trojans are back in action on Friday, April 6, as they head to Central, S.C., to face the Warriors of Southern Wesleyan. First serve is set for 2 p.m. in Conference Carolinas action at the Rev. Leroy C. Cox Tennis Complex.
