INSIDE THE RESULTS
- Despite the Indians fighting to win a doubles set, the Trojans held off their visiting opponents to win all three doubles points heading into singles sets with the 3-0 lead.
- Armando Ferreira and Jack Middleton won their No. 1 doubles set outright 8-6 of the Catawba No. 1 pair.
- Jose Cortijos Planas and Sherzod Akramov had to play a tiebreaker to win the No. 2 set 8-7(2), while the duo of Pablo Safont Ferrer and Juan Arbelaez also played tiebreaker points defeating the No. 3 Indian pair with the same score, 8-7(2).
- UMO went on in the singles set to win all six contests and shut out the Indians.
