FLORENCE, S.C. - The University of Mount Olive men's tennis team picked up a 7-2 win over the Patriots of Francis Marion University on Thursday afternoon in Florence, S.C.

INSIDE THE RESULTS
- UMO swept all three matches in doubles action heading into singles with the 3-0 lead.
- Juan Arbelaez and Pablo Safont Ferrer picked up the first doubles win taking the No. 3 match 9-7 over the Patriots.
- Armando Ferreira and Jack Middleton took the 9-8 (7-5) win in the No. 1 singles match.
- In singles action, the Patriots took the first win in the No. 4 match but the Trojans closed out the day winning four of the remaining five matches to win 7-2.
- Moser picked up the first singles win with a 6-4, 6-3 score over the No. 2 Patriot.
- Ferreira followed with a 6-7 (1-7), 6-3, 6-4 win at the No. 1 position with Cortijos Planas won 5-7, 6-0, 7-6 (7-4) at the No. 3 position.
- Safont Ferrer won the No. 6 match en route to UMO's 7-2 win.
