Mount Olive, N.C. – The University of Mount Olive men's tennis team swept Lees-McRae College, 9-0, in Conference Carolinas action on Saturday afternoon in Mount Olive, N.C.

INSIDE THE RESULTS
- Opening the match, UMO swept all three doubles matches from the Bobcats.
- Sophomore Jose Cortijos and senior Martim Sousa and sophomore Jacob Clarke and freshman Juan Arbelaez both pulled out narrow 8-6 wins at No. 1 and 3 doubles, respectively.
- Rounding out the doubles sweep was the sophomore duo of Ogulcan Deniz and Martin Moser who captured an 8-1 win at No. 2 doubles.
- Similarly to doubles, the Trojans swept singles play.
- Deniz earned a 6-1, 6-0 victory at No. 1 singles, Cortijos grabbed an 8-1 win at No. 2 singles, and Moser swept past his opponent at No. 3 singles, 6-0, 6-0.
- Sousa captured an 8-0 sweep at No. 4 singles, freshman Jack Middleton defeated his opponent at No. 5 singles, 6-0, 6-3, and Clarke earned an 8-2 triumph at No. 6 singles.
