Mount Olive, N.C. – The University of Mount Olive women's tennis team dropped a match to Emmanuel College, 7-2, at the John Neal Walker Tennis Center in Mount Olive, N.C.

INSIDE THE RESULTS

• In doubles play, the Trojans fell behind 2-1 with the lone victory for UMO coming at No. 1 doubles as senior Stella Di Michelle and sophomore Julie Gonzalez-Rodriguez captured the 8-6 win.
• The Lions captured wins in five of six singles matches with UMO senior Alejandra Hernandez earning the only Trojan victory at No. 3 singles, 6-4, 6-3.
• Junior Nicole La Chappelle came close to a win at No. 4 singles as La Chappelle lost a close 6-3, 3-6, 6-4 matchup.
