First Half

• Mount Olive took the early momentum as Dauda Sanoh put the Trojans on top in the 26th minute.
• Southern Wesleyan knotted the game up however in the 38th minute on a goal by the Warriors Michel Herszenhaut.
• The Warriors took the lead on a goal by Christian Taylor in the 44th minute.

Second Half

• The Trojans Dakotah Casale did not let UMO stay down in the second period as he found the back of the net in the 66th minute.
• The game remained deadlocked and extra time was needed.

First Overtime

• Both UMO and SWU recorded a shot but neither were on target and a second overtime period was required.

Second Overtime

• The second overtime period saw much more action as Mount Olive had two shots saved by Southern Wesleyan and the Warriors shot three times but none found the net and the game went to a penalty kick shootout.

Shootout

• Mount Olive after missing its first PK chance scored back-to-back opportunities from Jonathan Alexandersson and Grant Conybear tying the shootout at two.
• The next shots for both teams missed and it came down to the final two shooters for UMO and SWU.
• The Warriors Sebastian Castro made good on his shot attempt and a Mount Olive miss on the final attempt gave Southern Wesleyan the victory.
