The University of Mount Olive was unable to hold off the attack from Lees-McRae College as the contest came to a 2-0 loss for the Trojans on Senior Day at Amon Field in Conference Carolinas men's soccer. Malick Chune recorded five shots in the match.

Mount Olive (7-6 Overall, 5-3 Conference Carolinas) was able to hold off the Lees-McRae (6-6, 3-3) offense scoreless in the first half but two goals in the 72nd and 74th minutes sealed the win for the Bobcats. 

The Trojans did out shoot Lees-McRae nine-to-six in the match. Mount Olive recorded three shots in the first half and six shots in the second.

The match was also the final home match for Nick Bernsdorf, Sean Lockett, Phillip Seamster, Azzam Dharma, Louis Gorman, Macon Watkins, Hyago Matielo, and Bright Eto. The seniors were recognized prior to kickoff.

Mount Olive will remain idle until next Saturday when the Trojans will travel to Gaffney, S.C. to play Limestone College.
