Mount Olive extended its winning streak to three as the Trojans defeated Belmont Abbey 8-1 in Conference Carolinas women's tennis Saturday at Belmont, N.C. Four Trojans – Francesca Ceppi, Maite Belloso, Paulina Delgado and Nicole Karas – each dropped only three games in straight-set singles wins.

Mount Olive improved to 9-5 overall and 6-3 in conference play.

The Trojans stay in the Charlotte area Sunday to take on Wingate in a non-conference match-up. Match time is 1 p.m.
