Roxanne Chouinard, Samara Paldinho and Maite Belloso posted wins at the Nos. 3-5 singles flights as Mount Olive rallied for a 5-3 victory over Chowan in non-conference women's tennis Saturday at Murfreesboro, N.C. The three players also accounted for the Trojans' two doubles wins.

Mount Olive (2-0) took a 2-1 lead after doubles play as Chouinard and Belloso posted an 8-1 win at No. 2 doubles, while Paldinho combined with Paulina Delgado for an 8-1 win at No. 3 doubles.

Chowan (3-3) came back with wins at No. 1 and No. 2 singles, but Chouinard evened the match with a three-set win at No. 3 singles. Paldinho won in straight sets and No. 4 singles and Belloso followed suit with a straight-set win at No. 5 singles to clinch the team victory.

Mount Olive returns to action Tuesday as the Trojans travel to Raleigh, N.C., to take on Shaw in a non-conference match-up. Match time is 2 p.m.
