Mount Olive College sophomore Sarah Robertson recorded 14 kills, but the Trojans dropped a Conference Carolinas women's volleyball match to Queens University 25-15, 25-22, 25-18 Friday night in Charlotte, N.C.

Robertson reached double figures for the third time in four matches and the sixth time this season. The Royals, however, matched Mount Olive kill for kill, and three players recorded at least 10 digs to thwart the Trojans.

Nicole Sparks added 10 digs to lead Mount Olive (7-10 overall, 3-5 Conference Carolinas). Nicole Karas had 19 assists and eight digs; while Lauren Lee had nine digs and seven assists.

Queens (11-8, 6-1 CC) got 14 kills from Keri Kemp, 31 assists from McKenzie Martin and 16 digs from Brittney Barren and Jocelyn Kellinger.

Mount Olive returns to the court Saturday when the Trojans travel to Pfeiffer for a 2 p.m. start.
