Erika Conner added 12 kills for the Trojans, while Destiny Ma'ave-Kuewa recorded a season-high 38 assists.

After dropping the first set, Mount Olive (4-6 overall, 1-2 Conference Carolinas) rallied from an early six-point deficit to take its first lead at 18-17. Conner's kill saved one set point for the Trojans, but the Crusaders scored the next two points to take a two-set lead.

Mount Olive jumped out to an 11-6 lead in the third set as White and Conner combined for five kills, while Ma'ave-Kuewa and Charnel Austin each served an ace. The Trojans still led 20-16 when Angela Jubb recorded a pair of aces in a 5-0 run to put Belmont Abbey on top.

Two more kills by White and a Trojan block tied the set 23-23. But Belmont Abbey again won the final two points of the set to claim the match.

Austin and Conner recorded two aces apiece for Mount Olive, while Lauren Lee shared match-high honors with 11 digs. Holler and Jubb led Belmont Abbey with 10 kills apiece.
