Sharif Saber was named head women's soccer coach in January of 2018.

In his four years at UMO Saber has achieved a record of 42-15-5. His teams have won the 2019 and 2021 Conference Carolinas Regular Season Championship, 2019 Conference Carolinas Tournament Championship and 2020-21 Conference Carolinas Tournament Championship repeating as back-to-back champions. In 2019 he was named Conference Carolinas Coach of the Year. The 2019 team was also the first UMO soccer team to have an NCAA championship tournament appearance. 

Saber was previously the assistant coach at NCAA DII Kutztown University. During his time at KU Saber helped the Golden Bears to 16-4-1 overall record, a No. 1 DII National ranking, and an NCAA Tournament Appearance. Before his time at Kutztown Saber spent time as the head coach at Penn State Brandywine from 2015-17. While at PSUB Saber was named the USCAA National Coach of the Year after leading the Lions to a Pennsylvania State University Athletic Conference Championship and an appearance in the USCAA national tournament in 2016. 

He also has served as a staff coach at Penn Fusion Soccer Academy, where he earned coach of the year honors in 2017, as well serving as the head coach of the Kutztown High School varsity team from 2011-13. Saber was also a member of the USCAA 30 under 30 class of 2014 the recognizes the top coaches under 30 years of age for their excellence in coaching.

He obtained his Bachelor's Degree in History from Bloomsburg University in 2009 and earned his Master's Degree in education from Kutztown University in 2013.
