Tsegay paced the Trojans for a consecutive race and delivered an impressive eighth-place finish after crossing the line in 26 minutes, 11.6 seconds while competing in the eight-kilometer race at the Sand Shark Invitational. On Saturday, he registered a 5:16.2 average mile in a field of 115-plus runners.
