UMO Women's Golf Finishes Play At Patsy Rendleman

SALISBURY, North Carolina – Senior Lindsey Burton carded a 147 to lead the University of Mount Olive to a fourth-place finish after the final round of the Patsy Rendleman at the Country Club of Salisbury on Tuesday.
 
Tournament Information
The Trojans, who are coming off a runner-up finish at the Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate, finished fourth out of 16 teams with a 301-303=604 team score. UMO's team of Lindsey BurtonJohanna AnderssonLinn Andersson, and Linn Bergman all placed inside the top-30.
 
Trojan Leaders
Burton was the sole Trojan in the top-10 as her two-over-par in the final round placed her in a tie for sixth, jumping her two spots from day one. She was also the second-best in the field in par-4 scoring for the tournament and third-best in par-3 scoring. Johanna Andersson, who was second-best in the tournament in par-5 scoring, finished in a tie for 30th after shooting a 76-77=153 for the Tournament. Linn Andersson (75-78=153) and Linn Bergman (77-76=153) joined their teammate with a t-30 finish after their second-round performances to round out the Trojans' team card.
