MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. --- The University of Mount Olive has announced the spectator policy for athletics competitions.
The spectator policy for
indoor and outdoor sports will be as follows:
-The only fans that will be allowed are two family members or campus community members per student-athlete and coach (
members of the general public or fans of visiting teams are not allowed).
Exception: no fans allowed for track meets.
-Fan access will be provided at the main entrance of each facility via a pass list. There will be no charge for admission.
-Everyone attending athletic contests must follow the safe physical distancing guidelines of being 6 feet apart (unless with immediate family members) and wear a mask.
-When there is a doubleheader involving two different teams (i.e., a women’s game and a men’s game), fans attending game one must depart the venue after the conclusion of that game.
Additional policies include:
-Gates at each facility open one hour before game time.
-There will not be any concessions sales.
-Fans must remain in stands after games and wait for student-athletes to leave the field of play. Student-athletes and fans must maintain physical distancing and wear masks when meeting after games.
-Tailgating is not allowed.
These policies will be evaluated on an ongoing basis and be revised as necessary.
All home athletic contests will be webcast on the
Trojan Sports Network.
