MOUNT OLIVE (Mar. 9) – The University of Mount Olive's women's tennis team faced West Virginia Wesleyan on Thursday afternoon at John Neal Walker Tennis Center and registered their fourth win this season by a 7-0 margin.
With the win, the Trojans improve their record to 4-9 in dual match play with league play beginning next Saturday against Francis Marion. Meanwhile, West Virginia Wesleyan falls to 0-4 as it starts a stretch of three-straight matches in North Carolina.
The Bobcats only arrived with four players, giving UMO the upper hand in doubles and a 2-0 advantage in singles. UMO secured the point in the doubles session after winning the first and second positions with its newly nationally ranked teams. The No. 35 ranked duo of senior

Mount Olive sealed the match victory by winning all six singles matches after receiving wins via forfeit in the fifth and sixth positions.
