BUIES CREEK, N.C. (Feb. 14) – Facing a Division I program, the Trojans dropped a 7-0 match at Campbell in non-conference action on Wednesday afternoon.
With the loss, the University of Mount Olive women's tennis team falls to 2-5 this season in dual matches. Meanwhile, the Camels improve to 3-3 overall with a 2-0 mark against Conference Carolinas programs after winning 14 matches last year.
Campbell captured the doubles points after claiming victories in the second and third slots on Wednesday. Senior

Nele Weber secured a massive 6-1 win in the first position over Anne-Marie Kopecka and Abbie Tyler. At second doubles, senior

Oriana Izarra battled in a 7-5 loss to Tasin Hart and Mariana Ossa, while junior
Jessica Aylward and freshman
Laura Servien were dealt a 6-1 defeat in the third slot.
The Camels completed the match sweep by winning all six singles matches. In the first position, Montserrat fell by a 6-2, 6-4 margin to Hart, and Voloshyna followed with a 6-4, 6-2 defeat against Karlovcan in the second slot. Izarra suffered a 6-2, 4-6, 10-5 loss in third singles versus Kopecka before Weber fell by a 6-2, 6-2 margin to Ossa in the fourth position. At fifth singles, Servien dropped a 6-1, 6-3 decision against Ranaivo, while Aylward suffered a 6-3, 6-2 loss versus Anna Head in the sixth slot.
The Trojans return to the court on Saturday, Feb. 18, when they host Wingate in the John Neal Walker Tennis Center at 1 p.m.
