Murfreesboro, NC - The University of Mount Olive Men's tennis team beat Chowan University 7-0 in a conference matchup Wednesday afternoon in Murfreesboro, N.C.

The Trojans dominated the doubles play by winning all three match-ups, earning the doubles point.
UMO then went 6-0 in singles to finish the match with an overall score of 7-0.

- Armando Ferreira and Aditya Balda dealt the No. 1 duo from Chowan a 6-1 loss, while No. 2 Adam Ibrahim/Victor Nunez won 6-4, while No. 3 Gregory Normand/Elios Briand took down the Hawks duo 6-3.
- The Trojans brought this winning momentum in the singles round as UMO players won all of their singles flights to give UMO the 7-0 victory.
- Armando Ferreira got the singles action started with a 6-0, 6-2 win in the No. 1 flight.
- Guilherme Zotin followed with a 7-5,6-2 win at No. 4 and Israel Rojas won the No. 3 flight in 6-3,6-1.
- The singles 2, 6, and 5 finished up the match as Adam Ibraham won the No. 2 flight 7-6,6-0, Victor Nunez won the No. 6 flight 6-1,6-1.
- The Trojans' Gregory Normand took the final win at No. 5 6-3,6-2.
