SPARTANBURG, S.C.– The inaugural Conference Carolinas Spirit Championship will take place on Saturday, March 5 at Wofford College. 
 
The event, which is a unique championship opportunity for spirit teams within Conference Carolinas, is being held in the volleyball arena for the Terriers and will be streamed live at conferencecarolinasdn.com. 
 
The event will feature six institutions, Barton, Belmont Abbey, King, Lees-McRae, Mount Olive and UNC Pembroke. They will be competing in four different divisions with the overall champion being crowned. Mount Olive will compete in Intermediate Co-Ed, Barton, King and Lees-McRae will compete in Advanced Co-Ed, Belmont Abbey will compete in Advanced All-Girl and UNC Pembroke will compete in Intermediate All-Girl.
 
The event will begin at 9 a.m. with the presentation of awards at 10:30 a.m.
