MOUNT OLIVE, North Carolina - The University of Mount Olive men's tennis team defeated Chowan University 7-0 Wednesday afternoon in Conference Carolinas action at the John Neal Walker Tennis Center.
MATCH INFORMATION
The Trojans led the doubles round winning doubles 1 and 2 to earn the doubles point. UMO then went 6-0 in the singles matches taking a 7-0 victory.
INSIDE THE RESULTS
Armando Ferreira in the No.1 singles match took the win (6-1,6-3) for the first singles point. Guilherme Zotin De Oliveira then took out the No. 2 singles match (6-0,6-1) for the second singles point. Adam Ibrahim got the win at No. 3 singles (6-3,6-4) for the third singles point. Israel Rodrigues Rojas defeated the No. 4 singles match (6-0,6-0) in the for the fourth singles point. Gregory Normand took No. 5 singles (6-0, 6-0). Lastly, Diego Ortega Cadahia gave the Trojans the final singles point winning by default.
