Mount Olive, N.C. --- The University of Mount Olive wrestling fell to Coker University 27-15 Wednesday night in a South Atlantic Conference Carolinas action. UMO now goes to 1-2 on the season.

The dual began with the 125 weight class and Lens Mathurin put the Trojans a head by three. Mount Olive then conceded the next three matches and trailed 12-3. UMO was able to snag a decision win at 157 with Jake Nicolosi, defeating PJ Wunderlich 8-5.
Mount Olive slipped a bit as they fell at 165 via pin fall 55 seconds into the opening period. Dimitri Naimi (174 (3-2)) helped bring the deficit down to 18-9. Isaiah Manning, at 184, secured six points as Coker forfeited the match, and UMO was down only three 18-15.
Unfortunatley the Trojans were unable to complete the comeback as they fell in the final two matches and lost the dual 27-15.
