About Kornegay Arena
Opened in 1984, George and Annie Dail Kornegay Arena is the home for Trojan men's and women's basketball and men's and women's volleyball. Kornegay Arena is also used for high school tournaments and non-athletic events, such as commencement and the annual Original Free Will Baptist Convention. Originally called College Hall, it was renamed Kornegay Arena in 2005 after a donation by George Kornegay in honor of his parents George and Annie Dail Kornegay.
