A native from Wilmington, North Carolina, Bell made his first appearance of the season for the Trojans and recorded a win via fall in a 36-18 win over Greensboro at 197 pounds at the Trojan Duals.

In the opening round, he produced a pair of takedowns before pinning Khalil Belk of Greensboro in the first period. With the win, Mount Olive captured its fifth straight team win to improve to 7-1 overall in dual meet competition.
