A native of Roxboro, North Carolina, Cox averaged 3.62 points per set, as the Trojans posted a 3-1 record last week in non-conference play. On Friday night, she produced nine kills on a .308 clip with five service aces, eight digs, and three blocks (all solo) in a 3-1 win at Shaw. Cox followed up with 11 kills on a .455 hitting percentage with two aces, and three blocks in a 3-1 loss to Alaska Fairbanks on Saturday. Later in the day, Cox tallied 10 kills on a .563 clip with two aces and five blocks in a 3-2 reverse sweep of Saint Augustine’s.
