A senior thrower from Pelham, Alabama, Tolbert competed in three events at The Trojan Relays and delivered an NCAA mark in the hammer throw for the first time this season. On Saturday, Tolbert captured first place in the hammer following a career-best mark of 58.53 meters, which ranks second all-time at Mount Olive and first in the Southeast Region.

Additionally, Tolbert produced a season-best distance of 13.96 meters to place fifth overall in the shot put on Friday. He also placed eighth in the discus after posting a mark of 40.88 meters.
