A junior goalie from Syracuse, New York, James made two appearances in the cage last week and collected her first collegiate victory in the Trojans' 23-7 league victory at Emmanuel.

Last Tuesday, James finished with nine saves and three groundballs in 46-plus minutes off the bench in a 16-7 loss to No. 12 ranked Embry-Riddle. Against Emmanuel, she registered three saves while producing a pair of caused turnovers and one ground ball in 25-plus minutes of action. In the first quarter, James recorded a save at the 10:55 mark before recording back-to-back caused turnovers in just 26 seconds. She made a save in the final minutes of the first before recording her final save of the game at the 2:55 mark of the second quarter.

James leads Conference Carolinas with a .545 saves percentage.
