Moser Named CoSIDA Academic All-District

Mount Olive, N.C. --- Martin Moser of the University of Mount Olive men's tennis team was named to the 2017-18 Google Cloud Academic All-District® Men's At-Large Team, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America Association (CoSIDA) members. The award recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the playing field and in the classroom.

Moser, a junior from Voecklabruck, Austria, has picked up several laurels this season including a spot on the 2018 Conference Carolinas All-Academic Team and a 2nd-Team All-Conference Carolinas nod. Last season, Moser was named to the 2017 Conference Carolinas Presidential Honor Roll and the 2017 ITA All-Academic Team.

Throughout the 2017-18 season, Moser collected a 14-2, 8-1 record as the No. 2 singles player and went 11-7, 6-3 as a member of the No. 2 doubles pair. The Trojans finished the regular season second in the conference standings, 13-7 (8-2), earning them an appearance in the Conference Carolinas Men's Tennis Championship tournament.

First-team Academic All-District® honorees advance to the Google Cloud Academic All-America® ballot, with teams to be announced in June.

The Google Cloud Academic All-District® teams include the student-athletes from eight geographic districts across the United States and Canada. The Google Cloud Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and College Division.
