UMO Men's Soccer Moves Up To No.9 In USCA Regional Rankings

The University of Mount Olive's men's soccer program moved up a spot to 9th in the United Soccer Coaches Association Southeast Regional Poll, it was announced Tuesday.

UMO went 2-0 on the week picking up wins against Catawba (3-1) and Columbia International (3-1). The Trojans were led by Trojan newcomer Sebastian Loibl who pushed home three goals on the week and assisted in a goal as well.

Mount Olive will open Conference Carolinas play on Saturday, September 16 at Amon Field for the Trojans home opener. UMO will take on nationally ranked No. 17 Lees-McRae College, who is currently ranked third in the southeast region, at 4 p.m.
