Head Coach Joey Higginbotham summed up the season by saying: "I do not think I have ever been more proud of a group that I have coached. We have had a lot more talented groups come through Mount Olive that have not won a regular season championship. The toughest part about today is not that we lost and the season is over, but it is that we cannot go out tomorrow and practice because this was really a fun group to coach".
