UMO Baseball Hosts Two Remaining Summer Camps

UMO Baseball Hosts Two Remaining Summer Camps

Mount Olive, N.C. - Mount Olive's baseball coaching staff will host two more camps this summer. Kids can come to participate in two three-day camps put on by the UMO Baseball coaching staff as well as current and past Trojan Baseball players.

The first of the two camps is the instructional skills camp, for ages nine to 14, that runs from July 16-18 at Scarborough Field. Campers will learn the critical skills needed for various positions on the baseball diamond.

The last camp of the summer is the Trojan Baseball College Prospect Camp. This camp is aimed at high school students looking to play at the next level and will teach players what it takes to be a successful college baseball player. Instructional sessions will be advanced yet tailored to players of all abilities and skill levels. College Coaches will be the primary instructors for this camp.

On the last day of camp, athletes have the opportunity to play in an All-Star game which is then followed by an Awards Ceremony on Scarborough Field.

Both camps are highly instructional, and offer great coach to player ratios, and aim to prepare players for their next level of baseball.
